Family Participation
Family Participation aka “Special Day”
Each family is invited to participate in the classroom, on a rotating basis, throughout the school year. Participating in the student’s “special day” enables parents to spend the school day with their child and allows parents to observe, first-hand, the social and intellectual development of their student in the classroom. It also provides the opportunity for parents and teachers to get to know each other on a deeper level in the academic environment. In fact, parent participation in a child’s early-learning environment dramatically boosts the self-esteem and emotional well-being of the student, as well as enhances the parent-child relationship.
For more information about your “Special Day” please see section 6 of the Parent Handbook.
